Caribbean American Heritage PreK-16 Lesson Plans and Resources

On May 31, 2022, President Biden proclaimed the month of June as National Caribbean American Heritage Month. America continues to celebrate the rich and diverse peoples of Caribbean nations that have contributed greatly to the development of the United States, as well as their contributions in fields spanning culture, science, medicine, sports and more in June and throughout the year.

Celebrate the achievements of Caribbean Americans by using these preK-16 resources in this Caribbean American Heritage collection in your lesson planning. See some of the sample resources below and get started here.

Today, millions of Caribbean Americans strengthen our country through their vibrant cultures, traditions, languages, and values.  In recognition of National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, we honor the immeasurable ways Caribbean Americans have added to our American dream.
