Coronavirus & Distance Learning: Lesson Plans and Resources for Parents

About This Collection

Parent Resources: Share My Lesson Has You Covered

During these complex times, the Share My Lesson team and the American Federation of Teachers have collected these curated ideas, lesson plans, resources and more to help you and your family adjust to this “new normal.” While our children are acclimating to distance learning from home, it can seem impossible for us as parents to find that work-life balance niche when we have an argument between siblings in another room, or a hungry student asking for a sandwich during an important Zoom meeting.

Find Important Parent Resources

  • Tailored resources for prek-12 distance learning
  • Tip sheets covering student privacy, supporting students with disabilities, and resource databases for parents
  • Webinars on dealing with trauma, coping with stress, and healthy emotional regulation
  • Blogs for and from parents like you

We’re here to do what we can to support educators, families, students and communities during these uncertain times. For more information, join our remote learning community and work with other Share My Lesson members to find solutions, share ideas, and make a difference in our day-to-day routines. To us, the new normal is anything but, however, when we work together as a community, we ensure that we’ll come out of this pandemic stronger than before.
