Earth Day Lesson Plans and Activities for Kids and PreK-12 Students

Earth Day is celebrated worldwide every year on April 22nd in order to raise awareness for environmental protection. National Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday in April, however, due to the various climates in the United States, many states observe the holiday on different days of the year so that it aligns with the ideal time for tree planting in their location.
