Teaching Tolerance

Founded in 1991 by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Teaching Tolerance is dedicated to helping teachers and schools educate children and youth to be active participants in a diverse democracy. We publish a magazine, Teaching Tolerance, produce documentary films and develop curriculum materials — all free to K-12 educators — that help students learn respect for differences and bolster teacher practice. Our teaching materials have won two Oscars, an Emmy and dozens of honors from the Association of Educational Publishers.

Teachers may sign up for Teaching Tolerance's weekly e-newsletter at https://www.tolerance.org/
