The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy and its 550 scientists have created a new initiative, Nature Works Everywhere, to help students learn the science behind how nature works for us and how we can help keep nature running strong.

Nature Works Everywhere gives teachers, students and families everything they need to start exploring and understanding nature’s fantastic factory including videos, digital tools, and interactive lesson plans that align to standards.

Nature Works Everywhere Gardens, is a program extension inspired by two best practices in education–service learning and project-based learning. These gardens are spaces where students, teachers and families can learn about conservation science while spending time outdoors. Nature Works Everywhere Gardens includes a suite of activity guides, digital tools, and how-to videos to help get students outside and use a garden space as a living laboratory.
