Platypus Media

Platypus Media was founded in 2000 to promote and protect breastfeeding and attachment. We seek to educate adults and children about the world around them by publishing books that foster warmth, closeness, literacy, curiosity, and an openness to other cultures. We pride ourselves in not only offering great products, but in providing resources parents, educators, and librarians can use either in conjunction with our books or independently to spark and sustain a child's curiosity about the world around them. Platypus Media titles have earned NSTA Recommends and are available to Title 1 schools via the First Book Marketplace.
