Develop and use models to exemplify how animals use their body parts to
Life Science
Hierarchical Organization
All organisms have external parts. Different animals use their body parts in different ways to see, hear, grasp objects, protect themselves, move from place to place, and seek, find, and take in food, water, and air. Animals (including humans) use their senses to learn about the world around them.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of how animals (including humans) use their physical features and their senses to learn about their environment.
