Something as simple as stopping for 2 minutes to deep breath...I forgot how rejuvenating that is. Great strategies.
April 2020
Very refreshing that these are the things I asked for my students to complete while they are not in class. Thanks for the reassurance of my expectations for students.

Excellent and really helpful

This was very helpful as so many instructors are getting overwhelmed by going into the unfamiliar territory of distance learning. I don't use twitter and so could not make any comments as the chat box was over loaded. I really enjoyed the interactive polls but if you had more than two ( which was the requirement) I could not see or access them.I think you should do that often. Although my email brings me to this site, it does not instruct me how to get my PD certificate.

It was very helpful. Even though I am tired from watching too many webinars, this was excellent. Relatable and quick/practical tips, and I was grateful for the group practices. Thank you Marc! Greetings from Toronto.

Marc is relatable. He offers good ideas to help students consider their emotions and a visual for them to first make for themselves, then observe the differences as they grow and develop their emotions and the changes that occur in them. Thank you so much for this. I work with parents of elementary aged students who want to learn to speak, read, and write in English. While Emotional Learning is not part of the curriculum, it is immeasurably important for all of us to have some way to recognize and express around emotions...a big part of improving all lives. Thanking you for this. I would like to find a way to incorporate this into our lessons. *Marc's audio was scratchy some of the time. Response to your survey was closed when you closed the seminar.

This webinar was perfectly timed! Although it is certainly appropriate for these uncertain times, I found much of what Dr. Brackett said to be applicable to myself and my students even after life returns to "normal." I look forward to sharing this with peers and students, friends, and family. Thank you!
