Idea for cards was based around 'Lola the Listening Leopard'; however I used Teddy instead. The children reacted really well to Teddy and his rule cards; they loved the pictures I'd found to illustrate them with; they thought the smiley faces

listener cards
All these steps are so important for children to know. We cannot expect children to be good listeners if we have not taught them the skills. Cards are a good way of reminding them.
