This drawing art lesson is a single art print out sheet on the French Impressionist Claude Monet. It depicts an image of one of his boat scenes. Students are to use color pencils to recreate the scene using their own choice of colors according to the time of day. After the color pencils have been applied students then apply baby oil in small dabs using a que-tip. The baby oil allows for blending, which creates an impressionistic medium. This assignment is one of over 40 Meet The Master's Series found at PartnerLessons.com.
