As an elementary teacher, you’re afforded more opportunities than ever before to transform your teaching through technology integration. Dr. Brandee Ramirez, Educational Coach for Tustin Unified School District, wants to show you ways technology can support, enhance, extend and even transform traditional balanced literacy teaching practices in the pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade classrooms. In this webinar, you will:

  • Learn how technology can be effectively and seamlessly integrated to support and transform teaching practices at the pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade levels
  • Gain an understanding of the Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition (SAMR) technology evaluation framework, with an understanding of how to apply the SAMR model to transform your own teaching practices
  • Understand which specific apps and tools can be quickly and effectively implemented as part of a balanced literacy program, along with ideas for implementation
