As a society, public conversations about race and racism have increased in volume and intensity. Educators feel a sense of responsibility to bring these discussions into their classrooms—because young people want to be part of the conversation and because those discussions provide opportunities for timely learning. This document includes suggestions and strategies for having classroom conversations with young people about race and racism.
