To use with the song from youTube (Chavela Vargas’ version is the best). I used it as follows: 1) I picked out some random words; and asked students to make a little story / dialogue including the words 2) students listened and put hands up when they heard the words 3) students predicted content and mood based on the title; then listened to confirm. 4) I gave out the gapped lyrics; and allowed them to choose whether or not to have the verbs to put in. They worked in pairs to fill the gaps; before listening to check 5) students wrote their own verse

Lovely and clear, really useful
This song is so nice and clear for students to understand. I really like your ideas for exploiting it in lesson too. Thanks!
