In this lesson on being resilient, students explore the foundations of resilience and are encouraged to identify a source of creativity and perseverance resistant to the criticism of others. Students watch a short film, "Everything is Incredible" by Tyler Bastian, which tells the story of a Honduran man paralyzed from childhood polio and his fantastical commitment to creating a helicopter out of used and abandoned materials.
