About This Lesson
The lesson provides an opportunity for students to learn more about Cesar Chavez, the strategies he used to create change for the migrant workers in the 1960s and 1970s and to analyze and reflect on modern day civil rights and labor struggles. This also coincides with the major release of the film about his life on March 28.
