About This Lesson

This presentation will show world language and ESL teachers how to use performance targets and differentiate the pathways for students to achieve their goals, creating opportunities for students to take ownership of building their language proficiency. Participants will come away with preliminary plans for a project-based unit that effectively uses the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL) student can-do statements and provides differentiated opportunities for student assessment.
