Biography
Harlan D. Whatley was born in Louisiana and grew up in Texas in Austin and Dallas. He has lived in Georgia, Louisiana, New York City, Texas, the People's Republic of China and the United Arab Emirates. After a 20 year career in business development, Harlan pivoted to education and has taught college, high school and middle school since 2010. Currently, he teaches English and Visual Media at Chinquapin Prep School in Highlands, Texas, where he resides with his Border Collie mix, Godfrey.
