Join Catherine Zack for this experiential workshop series designed to give you both a better understanding of the science of stress and its impact on your body and real tools that you can use right now to manage stress, avoid feeling overwhelmed and create resiliency-building daily habits. You’ll leave this series with the foundations of a daily meditation practice and learn the building-block basics of mindfulness-based stress reduction.

In Session 1 you’ll learn:

  • why mindfulness is a powerful tool for managing stress;
  • three simple mindfulness meditation techniques;
  • and how to create a mindfulness meditation practice in your everyday life, including how to sit for meditation, how to work with your thoughts to create space in your mind, and relaxing breathing techniques.

Come ready to experience some immediate stress relief through guided relaxation, mini meditations, and breathing exercises to help you reset your attention, refill your cup, and relax at the end of a busy day.

Note: While part of a series, you can take this session by itself. You do not need to take the other two sessions in this series.

The beginning?
Thank you so much for the three small meditations. It might have been two but felt like three? I especially love the tracing of the hand while breathing. It was really neat to switch hands. Five minutes tomorrow I will practice the hand breathing meditation in the morning with my coffee. Thank you!

Get Curious
Catherine Zack is so relatable and did a fantastic job teaching about and helping attendees practice mindfulness. We're walking away with some fresh perspectives, easy-to-implement strategies to use in every day life, and a reminder to get curious about why it's worth slowing down--pausing--so we can decide how to "do" life better.
