AI and Education is a free community from the American Federation of Teachers' Share My Lesson, where K-12 and higher education educators find webinars, lessons, and honest, practical guidance on using AI tools in the classroom. It's led by the AI Educator Brain team: Share My Lesson director Kelly Booz, New York City public school teacher Sari Beth Rosenberg, and EdBrAIn, an AI teammate that named and designed itself.
In this community we dissect the pros and cons of AI tools in education. Our mission: to determine how AI can support teaching and learning, and when it might be best to stick with tried-and-true methods. We'll share AI and education resources from the broader Share My Lesson community as we all navigate this fast-moving space together.
The rapid development of AI is both exhilarating and overwhelming for educators. At Share My Lesson, we're committed to helping teachers navigate it, saving them time and strengthening their teaching.
— Kelly Booz, Director of Share My Lesson, AFT
