A Creative Commons license means that you, as the content creator, grant the right to share, use, and build upon the work that you have created. Content uploaded by a user always remains the property of that user. On Share My Lesson you have two options to license your material through Creative Commons.
Option 1: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike -CC BY-NC-SA
This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.
Option 2: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs-CC BY-NC-ND
This license permits others to download your works and share them with others as long as they credit you, but they cannot change them in any way or use them commercially.

Yes. We encourage you to add your own image with each lesson. If you do not have an image, your lesson will populate with one of our images. If you do add your own image, add a caption to site the source. And make sure it’s either an open source image, public domain image or one you have the rights to share online on Share My Lesson.
