Highlighting Timely, Free Lesson Plans and Activities Each Month
There are so many holidays, events, and anniversaries that mark our calendars each month that it can be hard to keep track of all of them. And if you do remember them, creating or finding free lesson plans and/or supplemental educational activities and resources on those topics can be another challenge. The Share My Lesson team is dedicated to helping educators save time and money while also introducing timely topics into their teaching plans each month. So our team has created a new blog series, "What to Teach This Month," where each month a member of our team highlights free lesson plans and resources for grades prek-12 on some of the relevant topics you might want to incorporate into your curricular agenda for the month.
You will find resources on more commonly thought of holidays such as Independence Day, Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, Christmas, or Halloween along with resources on topics like Anne Frank's Birthday, the Gettysburg Address, the dedication of the Statue of Liberty, Shark Week, World Refugee Day, Space Exploration Day and so much more! So dive in, read up, and explore the fun resources we have featured for the month.
