I can't teach my young one's this poem, but I do believe this lesson plan can be adapted to other poems.

I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my stressed-out heart for this wonderful Unit on Assisi! I am in an extremely under-resourced English Dept on an island in Scotland, with a remit which has not included the provision of time! Started beginning of November and am under quite intense pressure to deliver. My S4 are NOT getting the picture and I must 'get' a folio piece from them, like, whatever- as the kids say Yankee style- by Yesterday at the latest. Unrealistic? How about the WHOLE of Scottish education right now!! Slainthe. p.s. I Love Norman MaCaig (always have...)
