Not quite right...fir has 2 phonemes ..f...ir Also how about putting dash under 2 letters to make 1 sound to show kids that it is different than 1 sletter phoneme rg f has a dot under it and ir has a dash?? Just a suggestion as think it might make it easier for kids to understand??
