About This Lesson

Wow! This way to learn literary techniques through songs is really clever, I loved it but I´m afraid the level of my students is not high enough to do them in an effective way. Do you have something similar but more basic??? Thank you so much MdM

Amazing, thank you! Heard this song the other day and thought it would be brilliant for teaching similes...you've saved me a job and love the powerpoint. Claire

Absolutely fantastic lesson - very original and I'm sure my students will love it. I think you might have forgotten to upload the 2nd worksheet though - with the similes which are missing second halves. But anyway, thank you very much! A great resource.

This looks excellent - so much more engaging than some of the online resources. Thank you for creating it. The 'poetic devices' worksheet is a nice complementary piece, too, in 'related resources'.
