About This Lesson
Students read the book at their own pace - the lessons focussed on a few specific extracts and this was done alongside the BBC adaptation. There was a separate lesson building a large timeline (resources also attached) where students had to match definitions; numbers and dates around a large room to give them a wider context. (This was done alongside extracts from Zlata's diary and The Freedom Writers as well).
WOW ! This is amazing. I am really looking forward to using it in class - perhaps not everything but it's tremendous. Well done.
