Please rethink using this
Please rethink using this book - there are so many better resources to teach about the Holocaust. If you wonder why I believe this book is not appropriate ask yourself at the end of the book who do students feel sorry for? In most cases it is the German boy....that is not the take away we want for students. The lessons could be applied to other books which better reflect the history.
