More than half of the world's forest cover has been removed and deforestation is responsible for nearly 20 per cent of global carbon emissions. This is part 2 of a series of videos produced by the UK Forestry Commission looking at examples of what is being done to combat deforestation.
Make sure you use this with the first video to get the full benefits of this video content. This is geared towards British students, but can still be used in America because it covers international forest conservation. I would suggest using the CC (closed caption) because some of the accents may be hard for students to understand.
