Word list; key words; vocabulary builder. A handy word list for students to extend their vocabulary in assignment writing. Other words they can use instead of "this shows" and "effective". By no means exhaustive but it has made a hand
This is great - thank you. My writing resources on here are along the same lines (i.e. better analytical verbs) but the list encouraging students to avoid the dreaded and often meaningless 'effective' is inspired!
This is effective because (ha...see what I did there!!) it will encourage my students to be more discerning.
