About This Lesson
This is meant to assess the writing abilities of students. You can follow the directions or change to fit your needs. I usually assign this during the first week of school. The goal is for students to complete this 100% on their own without teacher assistance. The teacher will then have an idea of strengths and weaknesses that need to be addressed or applauded.
