About This Lesson
Students are tasked with researching and presenting a substance that can impact traffic safety. Students are encouraged to understand the impacts of substance abuse on the body, emotions and perceptions, connecting it to potential consequences if one were behind the wheel. Students complete the activity by identifying ways to prevent injury on the road if they have been under the influence of a substance.
