About This Lesson

Presented by Matthew Oates, The National Trust presents its 2013 Wildlife Review, taking a look at weather, flowers, insects, birds and mammals and how they coped throughout the seasons. The great winners this year are flowers and the 'warmth-loving' insects: butterflies, moths, bees, crickets, and grasshoppers. Barn owls, frogs and toads have suffered the most, due to a cold and late Spring season.
