About This Lesson

I added this film analysis lesson to the end of Unit 1 in the first ELA 9 module from EngageNY. What I liked about this lesson is that it: 1) Got students moving around the classroom, 2) Asked students to form evidence-based opinions about themes and issues presented in a variety of texts, 3) Produced some really intelligent conversation.
