About This Lesson

Overview: Students will learn about how natural resources are not always renewable in a lifetime and how although water covers most of the planet, to human it is a scarcity. Not all people have access to clean, safe drinking water in even places like California. Students will learn about water scarcity issues around the globe and will pick a topic to research and help solve the water issue of the chosen area and issue. The unit will take course over 2 weeks. Students will watch videos, research topics, read articles, have stations, and many opportunities to work with their peers.
