About This Lesson

Relationships within an ecosystem constantly inform and engage with one another. Similarly, food chains and food webs inform one another. Exploring the relationships between living organisms as they strive to meet their needs is a crucial step in better understanding our local ecosystems and practicing the work of ecologists. In this activity, we’ll use the tools of food chains and food webs to help us illustrate the countless relationships within our Tennessee ecoregions.

Designed for asynchronous and synchronous instruction.

Interdisciplinary with ELA and Fine Arts standards.
