About This Lesson

This lesson was made as a part of a class for my teaching credential. It is about the causes and course of the First World War. Included are five lessons spanning a day each. The first covers the start of the war. Second covers propaganda and how it was used by both sides to persuade people to join the conflict. Third covers the war, specifically tactics used such as poison gas, trench warfare, and the technological advancements. The Fourth covers major battles. And the last covers the ending to the war, Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points, and the Treaty of Versailles.
