Global Language Project

Global Language Project (GLP) is an educational nonprofit that works with public elementary schools to set up and maintain second language programs to empower students to compete in a globalized world and workforce. GLP also collaborates with multinational corporations to provide career readiness programs, and offers professional development sessions for teachers and administration. Additionally GLP is creating K–5th grade common core standards aligned Arabic, Mandarin, and Spanish curricula. GLP currently serves over 1,300 low-income students in grades K-5 and operates in seven elementary schools in New York City, five in Harlem, one in Brooklyn, and one in Queens.
