About This Lesson

This is a lab investigation for middle or high school science (Chemistry) students. This lesson follows the Argument Driven Inquiry format for Virginia 2018 SOL standards of hands-on laboratory investigations with cross-curricular connections. Science and Engineering principles are the primary focus, especially scientific investigation using the scientific method. Students will design their investigation using the guide for instructor approval before trials.
