This session will highlight multimedia stories, told through award-winning short documentary films and photo essays, from the Global Oneness Project. Stories will highlight indigenous peoples and communities impacted by the effects of climate change, coastal living, cultural displacement, and language loss. Lesson plans will be shared along with classroom tips, strategies, and teacher examples. How can students develop empathy while learning about the world’s indigenous cultures? This question will be explored with classroom case studies.
