Nobody can hold three thousand years and 178 rulers at once, so don't ask them to. Each group becomes the world expert on one dynasty, prints its reference sheet, and teaches it to everyone else from the front of the room.
Overview
Thirty dynasty cards divide cleanly into groups for almost any class size. Each group reads a one-page printed sheet for its dynasty, clicks through every named ruler in that dynasty to read the biographies, and completes the same four-part brief as every other group. Because the brief is identical across groups, the report-out is comparable — and a whole-class pattern emerges from the students' own data rather than from the teacher.
The analytical payload sits in the fourth part of the brief, where each group must judge whether their dynasty was rising, holding, or coming apart, and cite the evidence.
