About This Webinar

Join Wisewire and Share My Lesson for a webinar on crafting effective classroom assessments.

Most teachers write assessments for their students, but many find it challenging to craft questions that target the precise skills and knowledge they intend to assess. Join our assessment experts in a discussion of what constitutes a strong assessment item and how to write questions that will tell you exactly what your students know and what they still need to learn. Teachers-turned-assessment developers will share practical advice based on their years of experience writing items for high-stakes tests as well as formative practice. They will share examples of effective grade 3-12 assessment items, including traditional question types like multiple choice and fill in the blank as well as interactive digital assessments.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Professional Development provider.
