About This Lesson

Differentiated fable sheets; for children to identify features of fables. For lower ability; version of The Fox and the Crane for children to highlight fable features. For middle ability; The Hare and the Tortoise and The Princess and the Pea for children to decide which is the fable and present their argument for their choice. For higher ability; The Lion and the Mouse; The Fox and the Crane and The Princess and the Pea for same activities as MA. Topics also included: narrative texts; familiar setting stories.
