A lesson plan and instruction sheet for a simple experiment demonstrating that gases take up more space than solids or liquids. That some changes are irreversible. Also adds a little WOW factor to a lesson. Top Tip. Photo development shops - get left with empty film cases and will let you have them for free but only one type works as it has a snug seal - Translucent Plastic type. Get a class set and keep them. Topics also included: ideas for enquiries.
