As the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., approaches, his life and legacy are as relevant as ever. What can be learned from exploring the events that brought King to Memphis in the spring of 1968? What progress has been made with respect to the advancement of human rights in this nation? What work remains to be done to realize his "dream"? This webinar will use new interdisciplinary teaching strategies to examine this history through a critical lens.
