About This Lesson
While studying Post-Classical Asia, students view the Disney animated film Mulan and write an LEQ response evaluating the ways in which Mulan is or is not an effective source for understanding Post-Classical Asia or China. Students should be familiar with Confucian values like filial piety, China's relationship with nomads, and the basic structure of an AP style LEQ.
