About This Webinar

The termination of the deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) program has caused panic, fear and insecurity for the over 800,000 DACA recipients and the thousands of undocumented students enrolled in our K-12 public schools. As educators and school support staff it’s important to understand the limitations around the Sept. 5th announcement terminating DACA and the educational access rights of undocumented students. Join us for an important update on DACA and learn about the tools and resources available to transform schools into welcoming places of learning to support undocumented students and their families in an era of great uncertainty.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Professional Development provider.
