In this lesson, students will explore workers' rights and global supply chains. Armed with this information, your students can become more critical and thoughtful consumers. The lesson can be integrated into your curriculum in a number of ways, as it begins with the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire of 1911 and continues to draw upon modern day events, including the tragic story of the 2013 Rana Plaza garment factory collapse in Bangladesh.
