Heather Mann is an Associate Project Officer in the Education Sector of UNESCO where she works on issues relating to antisemitism, in the context of UNESCO’s programme on Global Citizenship. Heather has a PhD from the University of Oxford specialising in Holocaust education. Heather worked as a lecturer and outreach consultant at the Parkes Institute for the study of Jewish/non-Jewish relations at the University of Southampton, where she organised training courses for teachers in Holocaust education. Alongside her PhD, Heather researched the dynamics of conflict and identity in history education. Heather is a qualified as a teacher of secondary education and previously worked in schools in England and Germany.
