I work in a public school, serving four elementary buildings, including one with is a Spanish Immersion school. My role is a Gifted Services Specialist. I provide support to Kindergarten through 4th grade students and staff. I have Elementary Education and Spanish Majors. I am able to teach Grades K- 6 along with Spanish in Grades 1 - 6. I have been teaching since 1978, starting in a small rural school and currently, I am teaching in a suburban school. I am always looking for resources in Spanish for elementary school teachers and for resources that I might use in my lessons with Gifted children besides finding supportive resources for their teachers in the homeroom settings. I am love my job and how I am always able to go to SML to help support me so that I might be able to support others.
I retired June 9, 2023.
