I have been a classroom teacher for over 27 years in the Woonsocket, Rhode Island district. I have taught general science , included physical, Earth, Life and Space Science. Woonsocket is an inner-city student population with a great deal of cultural diversity. My education includes Bachelor degrees in Art, Anthropology and Secondary Education General Science. I have 2 Masters degrees, one in Anthropology from the University of Iowa and one in Cross Cultural studies from Brown University. I have had the pleasure of working with Save the Bay, The Jason Project and the writing team for the DANA center working on the NGSS curriculum. I am also certified in Yoga with a 100 hour program of study in Partner Yoga and Yogassage, which i have taught for 15 years.
