Biography
My name is Staci Martinez, and I am an Intervention Specialist RTI K-5 Math and Instructional Coach. With 33 years of experience in education, I am passionate about supporting both students and fellow educators in finding joy and success in mathematics.
Professional Goals & Staff Development Looking ahead, I am eager to lead staff development sessions for elementary teachers and educational assistants. My goal is to collaborate on teaching math to elementary students with a specific focus on:
- Balancing concepts and procedures to build a strong mathematical foundation.
- Encouraging abstract and flexible thinking in the classroom.
- Creating instructional strategies that make complex ideas accessible to all learners.
